As we all know, self-care not only includes mental health. In fact, a great sign of wellness relies on your mental and as well physical health. So here we are going to see some healthy drinks. 
The biggest challenge of these summer days is getting hydrated often. Mom usually told me to take some additional amount of water than usual. But, it's really boring to sip on the same taste. So tried some alternate drinks with some health benefits. Here I share two of them.

CUMIN SEEDS:
Cumin water is one of the healthiest drinks ever known. Cumin seeds promote digestion and it is an anti-oxidant to relieve stress.
Regular intake of cumin seeds will do magic in our body.
CUMIN DRINK:
Take 3 tablespoon of cumin seeds and roast it  for a minute in a pan.(mild roast)
Pour 750 ml of water and heat it until it reduced to its half amount.
Leave it to cool.
Take a mixie jar and grind this mixture to form a concentrated juice.
Add 100-200ml of concentrated juice in a glass .
Then, Add
  • Crushed ice -2tablespoons
  • Sugar – 1 table spoon
  • Pinch of salt to improve the taste

Then fill up the remaining glass with water.
Serve it cool.

If you don’t like to follow these long steps then ,you can still avail the cumin benefits by preparing simple drinking water.

CUMIN DRINKING WATER:
  • Add 20grams of cumin seeds to 1 litre water .
  • Boil this in a high flame for about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the stove and let cool.
  • Use the strainer to drain it .
  • Cumin water is ready.
  • You can replace regular drinking water with cumin water.



DRINK TO BEAT THE SUMMER HEAT:
 Another drink that promotes healthy collagen growth and especially suited for summer.
 It contains fiber and encourages healthy digestive track.
 Refreshing, sweet and easy to prepare.

WATERMELON WITH MINT:
 Chop the water melon pulp and blend it.
Pour it in a strainer and let it drain out.
Take a glass and add
  • Slice of lemon
  • Piece of grated ginger (you can also press it to extract the juice)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed ice

Serve the chilled juice with mint leaves.
